Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! It’s no surprise that this weeks topic is top 10 romances (or whatever related). I love a good cute little romance from time to time as long as it isn’t the entire plot. I love it when it is in YA and it’s two teens finding one another (but like you know it’s realistic it’s not like “OMG I am going to marry this man/woman” after a week). Or adult books when it gets a little smutty.
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon – Jamie & Claire 4eva
Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven – guilty pleasure, NA
Crossfire series by Sylvia Day – again guilty pleasure, hella smutty, hella problematic – not a healthy relationship
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh – I couldn’t with the chemistry between these two
I can’t think of anymore that I deem good romances. The others I could think of are just meh to me. These 4 are the only ones that had me swooning. I know as soon as I post this that I will think of a few more so maybe I will be adding more to the list through out the day. I will put them below if I do.

So I’m totally not familiar with any of the titles on your list. Romance isn’t my thing, either. Happy reading!

I haven’t read any of these but I have heard of Outlander and The Wrath and the Dawn. Outlander doesn’t sound like it would be my thing, but I’m very tempted to pick up Wrath. But I want to read the original Arabian Nights before I do because I’ve heard it’s based on them and although I’m very familiar with the stories, I’d like to read it before the adaptation.
Great list 😀

” “OMG I am going to marry this man/woman” after a week ” THIS so much! I hate it so, so much.
Have you read the The darkest Minds series by Alexandra Bracken? I really enjoyed the story and the romance (that is really not the main point of interest in this series).

Nice list! I loved the romance in The Wrath and The Dawn as well and I usually don’t like YA romances since they’re usually full of tropes.
I have Outlander on my TBR and I’m curious about Bad Romeo! 🙂
