Hello! My name is Danica and I am a 27 year-old Canadian book blogger! I dabbled in book reviews here and there on this blog but it wasn’t until October 2015 that I really put effort into my blogging and book reviewing. Now that I work a full-time 9-5 job I really enjoy the moments that I can sit down and read a book. Whether that be my hour commute to and from the office, while I’m enjoying a coffee after waking up on the weekends, or when the couch is calling my name.

In 2019, I really started to move away from the young-adult genre and started gravitating to more adult fiction and mystery thrillers. Don’t get me wrong, I still love picking up YA titles but adult genre has really been pulling me in. I am always looking for recommendations, especially for: dystopians, pandemics, mystery thrillers or true crime.

I take part in weekly book memes that showcase how my reading week was as well as showcases snippets from titles I recently picked up or am loving. They are a nice way to dip your feet in the book community. I try to post at least one book review a week and try to share reviews of advanced reader copies (ARCS) a few weeks before their release.
