The Wives by Tarryn Fisher

Published on: December 30th 2019 by Graydon House

Goodreads | Amazon

Summary (from Goodreads): Thursday’s husband, Seth, has two other wives. She’s never met them, and she doesn’t know anything about them. She agreed to this unusual arrangement because she’s so crazy about him.

But one day, she finds something. Something that tells a very different—and horrifying—story about the man she married.

What follows is one of the most twisted, shocking thrillers you’ll ever read.

Book Beginning: “He comes over on Thursday every week. That’s my day, I’m Thursday. It’s a hopeful day, lost in the middle of the more important days; not beginning or the end, but a stop. An appetiser for the weekend.” (pg. 9)

Page 56: “‘You’re enough for me, he says. ‘You know that right?'” (pg. 56)

Thoughts: I am only a chapter into this one (at the time of writing) and I am curious how this arrangement came to be and what the shocking “something” that Thursday finds out about the other wives/the husband she married. I can’t wait to get sucked in to all the twists!

What are you currently reading? Does this book sound interesting to you?
