Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
The blog is currently on a mini hiatus but have posted a link up for those doing freebie topics today. I chose to do my Top 10 books that I wish to read once I can find them at a price my wallet likes or at the library.
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas (YA/Contemporary/Fiction)
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor (YA/Fantasy)
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas (YA/New Adult/Romance/Fantasy)
The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons (Romance/Historical Fiction/War)
Simon vs the Homosapien Agenda by Becky Albertalli (YA/Contemporary/LGBT/Romance)
A Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (YA/Fantasy)
Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel (Adult/Science Fiction/Fantasy)
History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera (YA/Contemporary/LGBT)
The Princess Saves Herself in This One by Amanda Lovelace (Poetry/Feminism/Nonfiction)
Caraval by Stephanie Garber (YA/Romance/Fantasy)
That’a my list. I’ve added the genres of these books if you have any recommendations within them that you’d like to give. I love getting recommendations. It allows me to find books that I wouldn’t normally have picked up in the first place. Also if you have read any of these let me know how you felt about them and which one I should pick up first. Bonus points for anyone who knows where I can find these for a decent price!
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Great list! I love my local library, especially being able to put in interbranch requests. That’s how I tend to keep up with newer releases, since I’m not a huge fan of ARCs lately. I’ve read Sleeping Giants, and thought it was great! I also really enjoyed Simon. I ended up picking up a copy of The Bronze Horseman — used, for $1 — after a few people from my book club raved about it. (Still haven’t read it though…) Good luck with your list!

Caraval is also on my TBR! The premise of the story sounds so interesting. Great list! 🙂

I haven’t heard a bad thing about it! But I am afraid that there is too much hype around it right now.

Hi Danica,
The only book I have read on this list is Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. It’s pretty good. I want to read Six of Crows, but I’ll have to read the Grisha trilogy first. Also: CARAVAL. I want it so badly. I really like your blog, Danica. I hope we get to be friends!

I hear that reading the Grisha trilogy helps get you into the world of Six of Crows as they are the same. Yes, everyone is RAVING about Caraval. I hope it lives up to its hype!
I followed you back on all the platforms 🙂

I agree with History Is All You Left Me, The Hate U Give and The Princess Saves Herself In This One – I’m not sure if any of them have even been published in the UK because the prices are so steep.

I am really hoping to get to read the three that you mentioned this year! Shame about the prices being so steep. Living in Canada I always hate seeing the US price beside it because it’s so much better for my wallet lol.
