Under the Dome / Stephen King / 11/22/63 / Stephen King / Carve the Mark / Veronica Roth / A Thousand Pieces of You / Claudia Gray

I am really happy with this post this week. 4 books that I have been interested in reading. I wanted to pick up a Stephen King book and I saw that these two were on at Walmart for 2/$20 so I couldn’t pass them up. I tried watching the show Under the Dome when it was on Shomi but I wasn’t able to finish it before the service went out of business. I watched 11/22/63 on Hulu (I think) but I didn’t get to the last few episodes. I just feel like these would be interesting to read. See if there are any differences. Does anyone have any recommendations for a Stephen King novel?

For Carve the Mark, I had it on hold at the library for the eBook and I just noticed that it was on my virtual bookshelf. I know there is a lot going on surrounding this book but I wanted to read it to see where everyone is coming from. As for A Thousand Pieces of You, I borrowed the eBook from the library purely for the cover to be honest. But when I was grabbing the picture off Goodreads and read the description I was so glad I grabbed it. It sounds so cool!

What have you guys added to your shelves this week? Have you read any of these?

  1. 2 for $20 is a great deal! Two for the price of one, really. I’ve read Carve the Mark and while I definitely took issue with some aspects, and had other issues with other aspects, I thought the book was okay. I think I’ll read the sequel when it publishes in the future. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Have a fabulous week, Danica. =)
