Saga Vol 1 / Brian K Vaughan / Saga Vol 2 / Brian K Vaughan / A Crown of Wishes / Roshani Choski / The Diabolic / S J Kincaid / Between Shades of Gray / Ruta Sepetys

You guys – It has just come to my attention that you can take out eBooks from the public library. Game changer. Someone mentioned it so I checked it out and alas they were correct! I was able to borrow The Diabolic and Between Shades of Gray. Next, I randomly thought about A Crown of Wishes being on NetGalley because I remember I had read the first one there so I quickly went to the site and there it was. I requested it and not 2 hours later they accepted my request as I had read the first one already. I was pretty excited! I currently have 12% left to read. And lastly, ever since the Top 10 Tuesday meme that involved visuals picking up the Saga graphic novels have been in the back of my mind. So last Sunday while we were walking around the bookstore I picked them up. I read the first one and I am going to read the 2nd in a little bit. You can fly through them and I want to savour them.

Have you read any of these?

  1. Library ebooks are the best! It is a great place to grab audiobooks as well. I do want to read the Ruda Sepetys book and The Diabolic looks good. Happy reading!

  2. Whaaaat?! I had no idea that some libraries do ebooks! I don’t think my library does because we are such a little town, but I will have to check next time I’m down there. I haven’t read any of those but The Diabolic is on my wishlist! Hope you enjoy all of your new books, and have a great weekend!

    • It blew my mind too! Mine is a small town too so I was surprised to see that they offered them. They had 1000 titles but only 1 copy available usually for each book so I’m on hold for a lot of the new releases.

  3. You can also get audiobooks online from your library using Overdrive. I had to go to the library to reset my password for their site, but I’m all excited to get ebooks and audio without leaving my house! 😉

I saw Saga on a lot of lists last week… what is it like?

    • Saga is so good! My bf binge read all the volumes that are out right now. He could`nt stop. I just wish the app would work on my phone. None of the books load on it and reading on the computer is kind of a bummer!

  4. Great haul! I only started reading graphic novels last year but I keep hearing good things about Saga so may have to give this series a go soon – I hope you enjoy reading it. Between Shades of Gray sounds like an interesting read, I’ve been meaning to get a copy for ages and now I’ve seen the gorgeous edition you got I may have to treat myself. Happy reading! 🙂
