The Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas. Since her book Empire of Storms hit the shelves on September 6th, it made The Queen of Shadows be released in paperback. If you know me, you know that I prefer paperback editions of books. I haven’t picked up Heir of Fire yet to read because in a series I always like to have the next book on hand just in case I NEED to read the next one first. I love this series and I can’t wait to continue on. I like that I am reading them at a slow pace rather than binging them (like I normally do) because it allows me to slowly enjoy them.
This weeks random question: What obscure book do you wish would be turned into a movie?
I’m looking at my bookshelves looking for an “obscure” book but a lot of them I would deem “mainstream”. I think House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski would be great to see on film or The Supernatural Enchancements by Edgar Cantero. Both have a creepy element to them and I would be interested to see how it plays out in front of me.
What new release are you excited to get a hold of? What book have you been dying to read?

I haven’t started the Throne of Glass series yet. I have heard a lot of good things about the books. One book I’m really looking forward to is Gemina.

I keep thinking about starting the Throne of Glass series – I do have the first two books sitting on my shelf waiting for me. Maybe I’ll get around to that soon…
