Musing Mondays (8/29)

musingmonday

Musing Mondays is a weekly meme that asks you to choose a prompt to answer hosted at BooksandaBeat.

This week I am answering: Bookish news I’m excited to tell you about.

If you’ve been following my blog “A Redheaded Bookworm” you will have noticed that on Saturday it went through a little change. For one thing, my new blog name is now “Shelves of Spines”. I love the change in name. It sounds creepy. Another change is that I switched over from Blogger to WordPress. Luckily, WordPress has a great method of exporting your blog and importing it into WordPress. I didn’t lose any posts or comments! I’m loving WordPress so far.

Also, now that I have 3 days left of my summer job and school around the corner I will have more time to spend on this blog. I can’t wait!

This weeks random question: What book do you wish you wrote yourself?

I can’t really think of one. I’d like to say The Hunger Games because I feel like it’s a book that will be taught in high school english classes later just like 1984 was.

So what are your answers to this weeks random question?

Twilight cuz it was the spark that lit YA. People forget that Stephenie was not a writer when she put it to black and white. She also didn’t write it to publish. I have many story ideas I play with in my head, and some I have started to type up. Will I ever share them? Idk. But for now I love playibg in those worlds and learning more about the characters in my head. I am definitely not a writer, or ever aspired to be. I just am a deep thinker.

Love the new blogcasa btw 😊
