Synopsis: When Cassie Taylor met Ethan Holt at acting school, sparks flew. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy about campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing, Cassie and Ethan’s romance seemed destined. Until he broke her heart and betrayed her trust. Now the A-list heartthrob is back in her life and turning her world around. One touch at a time.

Cast as romantic leads once again, they’re forced to confront raw memories of the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their secret college affair. But they’ll also discover that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks

Review: Oh man! I picked this book up on a whim not really knowing what it was about and ooooooh boy… steamy steamy. It’s interesting because it’s a very “sexual” based book but it’s new adult. I also just learned that this used to be Twilight fanfiction – ha!

The Characters: Cassie is a little toooo about getting laid and kind of spends most of the book begging for something. That got a little cringy. Ethan Holt is… ouuf! But the “bad boy” vibes also got very tiring after a while. His “terrible past” was a little too dramatized. However, the two of them together was awesome and I hated them being apart (probably because I didn’t like the brooding haha). Ruby is great. She doesn’t take nothing from nobody and she isn’t afraid to tell you her opinion. I feel bad for Connor. Liking the girl and forever being on the sideline.

The Plot: The plot was interesting. It bounces between past and present. I thought I would hate it since they are actors in theatre school as I the books I’ve read about theatre have been terribly cringey. I honestly couldn’t put this book down I had to know what happened between Ethan and Cassie.

The Cover: Definitely grabs your attention!

This book is great if you don’t want a serious, thought provoking read. I love books that you can just devour and not think much of. I don’t mean that negatively. It’s just that it’s nice to be in a light fluffy atmosphere instead of something so dark and serious.

Wonderful review! I've been curious about this one for a while, but I've never seen a review for it. Well except on Goodreads and I don't always trust some of the reviews on there LOL! This definitely sounds like a good light read. 😀

Yeah, I don't always trust Goodreads! People like to 5 star review books before things are even published and it skews everything!
