This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Click here to go to Tyngas blog.

Kobo: The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

From Simon and Schuster: The Light Between Oceans by M. L. Stedman

Indigo Chapters: The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh, Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J Maas & Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor

Thank goodness for full-time summer jobs and great pay checks! I’m loving picking up the books I’ve been pining after for the past few months while I was in college. Have you guys read any of these? Which one is your favourite?

  1. The Nightingale is great! Such an emotional roller coaster, prepare yourself. I also liked the Assassin's Blade; it is one of the few instances where I have actually read the novellas that go along with a series. They really add a lot to the series and are well written. Enjoy!

  2. Ouf! Thanks for the heads up. I know the time period and subject matter is going to make it quite an emotional read. I'm glad you liked the novellas! Sometimes they do nothing to the story.

  3. LOL I haven't read the second book in the series because I was waiting to get my hands on this one in paperback form. I hate not having the sequels to books in my possession after I finish a book.

  4. I'm on uni break at the moment and working lots, so yep – great paychecks 🙂 🙂 One perk of living with my mum haha – don't have to pay rent. The Wrath and the Dawn is SO good btw.
