Musing Mondays is a weekly meme that asks you to choose a prompt to answer.
I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
I don’t know if this is considered “book-ish news” but I am upset about the fact that I haven’t really blogged this past week. I only participated in Mondays meme post and the T5W post for that week. It’s amazing to see that no one stops by your blog if you don’t comment on peoples posts.
I started a full-time job this week. I get up at 5am everyday, leave my apartment before 7am, arrive to work at 9am and work until 5pm then commute home and arrive there by 7pm if I’m lucky to have no delays. That leaves no time for blogging!! I need to work out a system to see if I can try and write my posts on the weekends and respond to posts for 10 minutes each night as I’m waiting for dinner to cook.
I’m definitely reading though. The commute is 4 hours (2 hours each way) so plenty of time to read. There should be at least 1 book review a week as it looks like it takes about a week to read one on the subway.
I feel like I’m letting people down and I’m sorry for the lack luster week guys!
Here’s to hoping that next week is more successful!!
Oh! If any of you are in a similar predicament like me, let me know how you guys tackle blogging while being super busy.
This week’s random question: What was the best book you read LAST year?
I can’t believe I read Outlander only last year. This book series is so addicting and so good!
What’s your answer to this weeks random question? Do you have tips for me? Comment down below!
I understand your pain. Since returning to work two years ago my reading time and blogging time has been greatly reduced. I try to pre-schedule things on the weekends, but as a real estate agent my weekends are busy.
Hope you are enjoying your new job.

I haven't read Outlander yet, but I have heard a lot of good things about it. Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂

I miss having a long commute. I now literally walk to my job so no reading. But I've discovered podcasts. They're fun.
Outlander became one of my all-time favorites. It's such an amazing read.

I read Outlander when it first came out, but I don't remember it very well. Now that I'm hooked on the series, I'll definitely be re-reading it!
