I’ve been absent from the blog a few days and I’m unsure how soon I will get back into the swing of things. There might be some queued posts that I can schedule.

On Wednesday March 30, 2016, I had to say goodbye to my childhood pet, Oscar. He’s been with me for almost 20 years of my 23 years on this Earth.
He waited for me to get home and gave me 3 more hours of his life before he decided it was time to go. I held his paw when he could no longer walk, I held him in my lap the entire car ride to the vet and he sat there looking out the window enjoying his last ride. I held him and kissed him and told him I loved him as he went to sleep for the last time.

I know this isn’t book related but I hope you pet owners understand what I am going through and give your pets an extra squeeze for me.
Oh my God, I am so sorry for your loss. Be strong, I know how hard it is. . .♥
And don't worry about not being active, come back when you feel ready to do so, we'll be happy to have you back any time~

Oh Danica, my heart hurts for you reading this. How lucky you were to have Oscar in your life for so long. He was obviously loved and cherished.

I know what is like to lose a pet (more like a friend) and it hurts a lot. You two were very lucky to have eachother.
Keep strong!
