Musing Mondays (3/21)

Now hosted at BooksandaBeat!

Musing Mondays is a weekly meme hosted at Books and a Beat that gives you prompts to answer.

This week I’ll be answering: I blogged about ____ this past week…
Mar. 14 | Audiobook Review of Posion Study by Mary V Snyder
Mar. 15 | I made a post on the Top 10 WWII Historical Fiction everyone should read
Mar. 16 | Top 5 Wednesday – this weeks topic was the top 5 fiction items from books we would want
Mar. 17 | Book Review of Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Mar. 18 | Friday Book Beginnings & The Friday 56 – I featured The Diviners by Libba Bray
Mar. 19 | Stacking the Shelves – I added 10 more books to my shelves this week!
Mar. 20 | Book Review of Doon by Carey Corp and Lorie Langdon
I managed to post once a day this week! I like posting daily because I like seeing the comments on my posts. I enjoy starting discussions and seeing other opinions.

Random Question: Have you ever read a book after watching the movie/television version only to find that you don’t like the book as much as the adaptation?

Orange is the New Black. The book was interesting but the television show is just so much better.

What’s your answer to todays question? Comment down below!

Pride and Prejudice. The 2005 version with Kiera Knightly used to be my favorite movie when I was younger and after watching it like 100 times I finally got around to reading the book. But because I had seen the movie so many times all I can think while reading the book is how different it was. Ugh, I should have read it when long ago..

  3. Hi Danica, I've been meaning to watch Orange is the New Black. I didn't even realise it was a book though! I think I might just skip straight to the TV show as I have enough to read as it is. Its interesting how many TV series are inspired by books.

I'm totally addicted to The Shannara Chronicles at the moment and keep thinking, I really should have read the book first… but sometimes its nice to just sit down and let someone else great the visuals for you 😛

Thanks for stopping by our blog yesterday 🙂
    Happy Reading, Rachel @ Paein & Ms4Tune
