Musing Mondays (2/29)

Musing Mondays is a weekly meme hosted by A Daily Rhythm that gives you prompts to answer.
This week I’m going to do: I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…

I created a weekly book meme that takes place on Thursdays. It’s called Dream Cast Thursdays. Each week you pick characters from the book you are reading or books that you’ve already read and pick what actresses/actors you think would best play those characters. Then you link up your posts so that others can see!

I didn’t promote it well enough and sadly no one participated in the first week 😦 I’m hoping that I can get a handful of people to join me this week. I think it’s a fun idea and hope you guys do too!

Random Question: What was the last book you didn’t finish? Why?
I don’t not finish books. I put them down for very long periods of time but I finish them no matter how boring it is. The only one that I can think of is Vanity Fair by William Thackery. I chose it as my classic book to read for a high school English course ages ago. It’s a pretty large book and sadly I only got through maybe 500 or so pages. Not because it was boring though! I really enjoyed it but ended up watching the movie like a terrible student to complete the assignments associated with it.

  1. You are even more persistent than I am, although I might have approached my books as you do when I was young. It also makes a difference if the book is an assignment. I also finish all review books.

Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

  2. I have a hard time not finishing books because I know how hard authors work on them. It's been so long since I didn't finish one I can't even tell you what it was.

Thanks for visiting The Book Connection.
