Tag Tuesday | Totally Didn’t Book Tag

I found this tag over on powisamy and wanted to give it a go! She found the tag on YouTube and it was created by ReadsLikeWildFire. Let’s bring out your inner high school teenage girl see which books “totally didn’t”:

1. Totally didn’t need to have sequels/series
from Goodreads
I may be too quick to pick this one as I haven’t read “Where She Went” but I feel like “If I Stay” really didn’t need a sequel.

2. Totally didn’t need to have more than one POV
from Goodreads
It was just confusing. Who’s talking Tris or Four? I don’t know your voices are so similar.
3. Totally didn’t need to change the cover art in the middle of the series

from Goodreads
How pretty is this cover? I don’t know why they changed it for the 3rd book. I never got my hands on these as I wanted my series to match so I opted to pick up the cover changed versions. So sad.
4. Totally didn’t need a love triangle

A lot of books don’t need to have a love triangle in it. It’s over done and kind of stressful.

5. Totally didn’t need this book included in the series

I really didn’t like this book. Very Jacob-centered and I didn’t like his character. Also didn’t like all of Bella’s whining.
6. Totally didn’t need a cliffhanger

from Goodreads

I like cliffhangers. When I don’t like cliffhangers is when there isn’t another book to read afterwards. Like the end of Never Never #3 in the epilogue. Why?

7. Totally didn’t need to have just one point of view

from Goodreads
Where’s Peeta’s perspective? I’d read the hell out of that.
8. Totally didn’t need that much hype

from Goodreads
This book got a lot of hype. I didn’t like the characters or the plot really. I feel like I didn’t take anything away from this book.

9. Totally didn’t need a relative book reference

Any book that is a dystopian world that refers to another book that is dystopian. Just because it’s dystopian you don’t have to put “If you enjoyed the Hunger Games” on every series.

10. Totally didn’t deserve my time
from Goodreads
Just don’t read it. You may see it on BookOutlet and read the description and be like, “Hmmm, interesting” but don’t do it.

Do you agree with my choices? What would be on your list? Comment down below and/or link up your book tag for me to check out!
